Dia de los Muertos


All are welcome to celebrate the traditional Hispanic holiday that accompanies All Souls Day at the Old Adobe Mission!

Schedule of Events:

4:00 P.M. - Official Opening of Event
  • MESOAMERICAN BLESSING AZTEC DANCERS
  • OPENING OF ALTARS & ARTWORK INSTALLATIONS
  • ARTS & CRAFTS TABLES OPEN

PAPER SKULL MASKS
PAPEL PICADO & FLOWER MAKING
SHRINKY DINK JEWELRY MAKING



In addition to art work, music, storytellers and performers, traditional solemn altars will be available for parishioners to offer prayers, offerings, and remembrances of family members who have gone to God.

Altar blessings by Fr. Greg will be begin at 4:00pm and will continue until 10:00pm.

After the celebration altars and artwork will remain open daily through November 5th from 9:00am until 9:00pm for quiet reflection and prayer.

Canned food will be collected for the food bank during the event. Please bring a can of unopened food to donate. 

This is a FREE family event!  Please join us!

Parking will be available for free at the parish and school parking lot.
